Event List Event Name:   MCJGA Spring Match Play Event Location:   Boone Creek GC, Bull Valley 815 455-6900 Event Date:   4/12/2010  Cut-off Date:   4/3/2010 Boys Fee:   $ 140.00 Girls Fee:   $ 140.00     Eligibility:   Any MCJGA Member (2010 Membership Applications available at www.mcjga.net in the members link.) Pairings:   Tee times will be posted online at: www.mcjga.net one week prior to the April 12th and 13th qualifying rounds.  At the conclusion of qualifying players will be placed in flights based on qualifying round scores.  Schedules for the match play portion will be handed out at the conclusion of the second qualifying round and also posted online. Dress:   Shirts with a collar required. No t-shirts, tank tops, jeans or cut-offs allowed. No metal spikes allowed. Event:   (2) 9 hole qualifying rounds for both boys and girls to determine flights for match play.  All competitors will then play all of the other individuals in their respective flights.  This is a round robin event.  There is no elimination in this event. Schedule:   Qualifying Rounds: April 12th, April 13th Match Play: April 19th, April 20th Match Play: April 26th, April 27th Match Play: May 3rd, May 4th Match Play: May 10th Rain Date: May 11th Late Start Rule:   Contestants failing to appear on their assigned tee will be assessed a two (2) stroke penalty. Contestants failing to appear on their designated tee within 5 minutes shall be disqualified. Notes:   All competitors will play nine 9 hole rounds.  The first 2 rounds are played as stroke play to determine the flight competitors will be in for the match play portion.  Based on a field size of 40 players, there will be 5 flights of 8 players each.  Competitors will play a 9 hole match against each of the other 7 individuals in their respective flight.  Tee times for all rounds will be between 4:00-5:00pm each day.                              Return to Event List
