McHenry County Junior Golf Association (MCJGA)

2012 will be the twelfth season of events for the MCJGA. The MCJGA was started in 2001 to provide a competitive golf experience for local junior golfers. What started out as only three summer tournaments in its first year has now expanded to a match play event, thirteen summer tournaments, a tournament of champions and a fall tournament. Fields for our events usually reach full capacity and include a wide range of skill levels. What began as an organization designed to introduce young golfers to tournament golf has also become a highly competitive forum for the area's best players. The tournament experience the MCJGA provides is excellent for young players who are looking to improve and compete.

Dear MCJGA Members and Family,

This year will be the twelfth season of events for the MCJGA. Each year since its inception the MCJGA has tried to add something new to improve the experience for its members. Not only are there more tournaments than ever before, but we've added another two day event and have made some interesting changes to the spring match play format.
The scholarship fund that began last season will once again award (2) $1000 scholarships to MCJGA members. .... (more)
